Our story

Gardening all our lives.

“We have been gardening all of our lives, and when we retired in Evanston we wanted to share our passion with others,” says Alex Rossi, who started Bison Prairie Farms in 2023 with his wife, Marijke.

They grow in one commercial greenhouse, one high tunnel and several raised outdoor beds, practicing restoration agriculture using natural processes.
